Best Places to get Headshots in Holland, Michigan

Choosing a location to have a photo shoot can sometimes be the hardest part of the whole process. I understand that, because I have been there before. When choosing your location here are a few things to keep in mind . . .

  1. Background - Since you are getting headshots, you should consider what you the background behind you will be. You want to think about what would be an accurate representation of your brand. If you are a Realtor, a great background would be a home, a beautiful building or maybe your office that you work out of so that your clients can see where they will meet you!

2. Clothes - Brand consistency isn’t just about your logo or website—it’s about every detail that makes your business unique. Your clothing should reflect who you truly are. If you wear something completely out of character for your headshot session, how will people recognize you when you meet in person? Choose an outfit that feels authentic to you, and be mindful of your color scheme—make sure your clothes don’t blend too much into your environment so that you remain the focus.

3. Props - One of the great things about business is that you usually can’t do it without some sort of tool—or environment—that supports what you do. That’s why we love experimenting with props and incorporating meaningful locations into our imagery. No matter what your profession is, we take the time to capture more than just standard headshots for your website. We create images that showcase your face and the unique elements of your business—whether that's the tools you use or the space where the magic happens.

With all that being said we have created a list of our TOP 5 Favorite Locations in West Michigan to shoot headshot sessions at if you do not have a physical business building!
