Elevating your Brand: Our Process

Today I want to give you a step by step run down of how I can help you elevate your brand imagery!

Building a brand that truly stands out—both in the world and within your ideal client market—is no easy task. That’s why I want to share how we help elevate your brand’s imagery to not only reflect who you are personally, but also authentically represent your business.

Step 1: We connect! I am consistently trying to network with other business owners so that I can find those businesses that are in need of some updated or brand new brand photos. When we meet I really love to chat with you about your business and dive into two important details.

Those are your “Why” and “How”.

Your “Why”: Why do you do what you do? Why do you love your business? Why do you continue to do it year after year? We all know that running a business is hard. So why do you keep showing up for your clients?

Your “How”: How do you take the time to make your clients feel seen? How do you take the time to make your clients feel heard? How do you take the time to make your clients feel special? Usually with your business you are trying to solve a problem, right? For example, let’s take a real estate agent. This is one of my go-to examples. A Realtor is trying to help a client buy or sell a house right? People come to a realtor to receive help with how they go about selling or buying a house and making sure that they are doing all the things that are involved with buying or selling a house the right way. How are you creating a way in your business to help solve a problem for your ideal client?

Brand Imagery for the Brand that cares!

“I am consistently trying to network with other business owners so that I can find those businesses that are in need of some updated or brand new brand photos.”

Step 2: We collaborate! Owning a business takes a lot of time & energy, which means that your schedule can be limiting. This is why I help you with all the little details. I focus on how I can help you create imagery that properly reflects who you are as a business! Which means that we need to decide on three important details!

Where? Where do you feel the most comfortable? Check this other newsletter we made about how to pick where to get your headshots done! If we are talking about headshots then we need to pick a location that you are comfortable and able to relax so you aren’t looking stiff and unapproachable in your headshots. If we are doing food photography for a restaurant we should do the shoot at the restaurant. If we are taking photos of your team then we should do your team photos out of the location that your team works from.

When? We know that business owners have lots of meetings, teams to manage, social media platforms to stay current on, and of course your own home life to worry about. Which is why I work with you to pick a time that best fits your busy schedule. Whether you’re a business owner and a parent, or just a very busy bee in general, I will do my best to work around the time you have.

How? How do we bring it all together? We meet on the date that works best for you and we do your headshots + whatever other photo products you ordered from me! I walk you through what it is that I am doing, giving creative suggestions along the way. You tell me whether you are liking what we are doing or you can tell me that you want to try something different!

If you have products that need to be photographed, you don’t always need to be there—especially if we’ve already discussed your vision and you’ve got a busy schedule. Feel free to head out and take care of what you need to do, and I’ll handle the rest and make sure your product photos turn out exactly how you want them!

Collaboration is key!

Step 3: We create! This step is the best step! When I am done snapping the photos I take them back to my editing room and edit, edit, edit! I promise 3-5 business days turnaround time! I can take the time to make sure that your images are fine tuned and ready to show the world, and you get your photos in less than a week!

This also means though that you have a few things that you need to do before you showcase your new brand images! Make sure you follow these steps after you get your photos!

Headshots - If you got your headshots done with me make sure that you take the time to create a “About Me” blurb so that you can take that headshot and introduce (or re-introduce yourself) on your social media’s, your blog, and any and all places that your business is present! With all the scams out there nowadays people want to see the person behind the business!

Service Shots - If I took photos of you in action performing the service that you offer then start creating a few blurb posts about the services you offer!

Product Shots - If I took photos of the products you offer make sure to start creating descriptions of those products for your website!

There are so many different ways that you can use the images I help create for your business! Next week I will be covering how you can utilize your images to the absolute best of your ability!

In summary . . .

I help elevate your brand imagery through a three-step process: connect, collaborate, and create. We start by diving into your why and how, then work together to plan visuals that reflect your business authentically, from location and timing to your unique style. Finally, I deliver polished, professional images in just a few days—ready to help you confidently show up and stand out in your market.
